Experience and Skill Set Requirements
Desirable Skills:
·Demonstrated ability to work independently
·Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with the project team to meet goals and objectives
·Knowledge of MNRF-AFFES division service offerings
Software development – 30%
·10+ years of programming and development experience in Java
·Development tools with emphasis on technical skills listed below
Data Analysis and Design – 25%
·Experience conceiving, reviewing, and implementing design changes
·Experience analyzing data records, diagnosing, and resolving issues
Technical – 30%
·Demonstrated experience developing Java applications based on:
o Liberty
o Spring
o JPA2.1 implementations, e.g. Hibernate 3.6, Eclipse Link 2.5 etc.,
o JAX-RS 2.0, JDBC 4.1
o Windows Exchange Web Services (EWS) API
o Websocket 1.1
o Angular JS
·Demonstrated experience with Oracle database
o Developing database scripts
o Database design
o Data modelling
Accessibility – 10%
·Experience developing and designing intuitive, simple to use interfaces
·Experience developing and coding web UI components that are compliant with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disability Act (WCAG 2.0 LEVEL AA)
Public Sector Experience – 5%
·Experience working with the OPS with a track record of delivering value
